CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS XBOX ONE BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY COULD BE COMING SOON

It looks as though Call of Duty: Black Ops will become backwards compatible on Xbox One soon.

Eurogamer spotted an image on the Xbox 360 dashboard today with the caption "COD: Black Ops - Now Plays on Xbox One." However, it seems the image has since been taken down.

It has been assumed for several months Black Ops will be coming to Xbox One's backwards compatibility service. The game is currently listed under the "Even more favorite titles coming each month" section on the Xbox One backwards compatibility website alongside the Bioshock trilogy and Skate 3. Today's image suggests we aren't too far away from an official announcement.

If you want to know what other games are already available on the service, IGN has a list of all backwards compatible games.

The Call of Duty franchise is having a rough time of it at the moment, as Infinite Warfare is currently one of the most disliked trailers on YouTube. IGN Logo
