THE NINTENDO E3 LIVE event will see the likes of Legend of Zelda for Wii U, Pokemon Go and Pokemon Sun & Moon take the spotlight, with no NX related news planned.
UPDATE ONE: The Nintendo E3 Treehouse live event kicks off in less than an hour and will include new info on Pokemon Sun and Moon Legend of Zelda for Wii U, Pokemon Go, as well as Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past.
While Nintendo has confirmed there will be no coverage for the NX console at E3, we could still see some surprises spring up.
Instead of the usual Nintendo Direct event, there will be two days of Treehouse livestream, with plenty of gameplay and unscripted show floor action promised.
It all kicks off at 5pm BST, expect more on Pokemon Sun and Moon going beyond what has already been revealed on the Starters, Legendaries and the new Pokedex, while Pokemon GO will finally have a big stage to show off its full ambitious project.
Will we get a full Pokemon Go release date? It's hard to tell but Ninatic won't get a bigger stage to do it on in 2016.
NINTENDO E3 PREDICTIONS:
Kicking off on June 14 at 5pm BST, the Nintendo Treehouse live will be focusing on mostly Legend of Zelda Wii U for its duration.
The format will be different at E3 this year for Nintendo, no Direct-style presentation will be run, although it will be hosted by Nintendo of America chief operating officer, Reggie Fils-Aime.
The livestream will be broadcast over two days, the first will focusing on the new Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon titles, followed by a big look at the Legend of Zelda.
While the Legend of Zelda will be released on Wii U and Nintendo NX, no footage from the new console version will be shown.
The highly anticipated new title is set to be released in 2017, although no firm launch date has been confirmed.
The Nintendo NX is set to land in April 2017, a list of launch games have yet to be formally announced, although the company say they will reveal more later in 2016.
The Nintendo Treehouse live will also feature behind-the-scenes details, Nintendo gaming experts and some show floor footage.
The Wednesday Treehouse stream goes live at 6pm BST, and will include a look at Pokemon GO and Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past.
The Pokemon GO segment will include a Q&A with developers, it’s unclear if a release date will be revealed as well.
