Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 "Eclipse" DLC Hits Xbox One, PC Today

Four new multiplayer maps and next Zombies chapter out now on new platforms.

Following its release on PlayStation 4 in April, Call of Duty: Black Ops III's second expansion, Eclipse, launches today for Xbox One and PC. CharlieIntel reports that the expansion (7.92 GB) is out now on Xbox One and will come to PC at 10 AM PST / 1 PM EST today.
Included with Eclipse are four new multiplayer maps and a new Zombies campaign.

One of the new maps is remake of Bonzai, a fan-favorite from Call of Duty: World at War, which is now called Verge. The other maps included in Eclipse are Spire, Rift, and Knockout. You can see full descriptions for each of these maps here in GameSpot's previous coverage.

Eclipse also expands on Zombies mode with a new chapter called Zetsubou No Shima, which continues the Origins storyline of previous games. Check out screenshots from the DLC below.

The DLC is available on its own for $15, but is also included with the $50 Black Ops 3 DLC season pass. It is the game's second expansion, following Awakening, which came out in February.

Treyarch and publisher Activision have said two additional expansion packs will follow, but these have not been announced.

All Black Ops III expansion packs are released on PS4 first as part of Sony's timed exclusivity deal with Activision. This timed-exclusivity deal will extend to 2016's Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. DLC for Infinity Ward's new game will come to PS4 30 days before it's released on Xbox One and PC.
